If you get MTV or any of the major music channels through services like Direct2tv.com, then you’ve seen musicians come and go. Ever wonder how you could start a music career of your own?
It’s not terribly hard to do thanks to the internet and social networking sites.
All you really need is the creativity to make music and the drive to see this passion through to the end. Below are some ideas to help you get started on your musical journey:
1.) Who are you? This can include the kind of music you want to make as well as your name. You should also decide if you’re a one-man team or a full-on group. Are you a Skrillex or are you a Daft Punk?
2.) Go online and research the different ways social networking can work for you. Many artists starting out use YouTube and MySpace, but those aren’t the only choices. There are specialized social networking sites that cater particularly to musicians.
3.) Stay hungry and stay busy. Most of the time, you aren’t going to make one song and be discovered. While this has been known to happen, it’s equivalent to tossing messages in bottles into the ocean. You have to stay busy and stay active to make it big.

One of the best things about a computer is that you can actually get one that has a webcam built into it. If you have the intentions of either recording yourself with a great camera, or having someone else record you, you need to know that the cameras that are the best are not the cheap ones that you can get for fifty or sixty dollars. You must also never use a webcam or low quality camcorder when trying to record your music. The reason for this is that these items will probably give you a huge deal of static in the background and distort your voice and music.Check out this link April 2013
