Low Impedance will fall in a coma until September. It’s too hot to move a finger, let alone release stuff. We’ll try to answer as many emails as possible, but keep in mind that summer is a VERY BAD time for reasonable people like us (we’re not weirdos, so we don’t enjoy this cursed time of year)..

September will see us back in action with new stuff (Charles Oldman and Veliotis/Grivas)

01.03.2008what we've been up to..

Brand New (if you’re blind and haven’t seen the HUGE icon): Pridon’s ‘Apnea Eina’...officially available. Ultra-cool electronica from our wunderkind.

BUT: we’re busy bastards and won’t stop here. Coming your way: A mind-numbing collaboration between Anastasis Grivas and Nikos Veliotis. Swarms of (in)harmonic drones, menacing parts of pure silence and massive oceans of ambience leave sweet question marks floating above our pathetic mortal brains. Ah, the pure mystery of music..

AND: An amazing solo work by Oldman (Charles-Eric Charrier, formerly of the duo Man). Think folk, jazz, rock and ambient and you get an idea, but it’s more than that. Each lonely note drops on your ears like an atomic bomb, make no mistake.

We have new stuff coming! Our 12th release, Pridon’s ‘Apnea Eina’ will be officially available on February 28. You can order it NOW through our online shop.

Pridon will also be performing live on February 29 at STFU, Bios Athens.

To those of you that haven’t given up on counting the years: happy 2008!

After spending the Xmas holidays eating and drinking like mad apes (winter solstices tend to have that strange effect on people), we’re back to work.

Our next release will be Pridon’s ‘Apnea Eina’, a trippy electronic synthfest of epic proportions. Release date will be announced soon. Stay tuned!

After some time of silence (as Robocop once put it: we’re only human) we’re back with a new release: the awesome ‘Wroln’ by glitchmeisters Qebo.

It’s quite a sexy piece of work: deconstructed beats, ultra-detailed audio craftmanship and general digital mayhem. As if that wasn’t enough, pop the cd in your PC, watch the videos, fry your eyes and regain your confidence in the future of the human race: everything is going to be ok.

We’re back with a new release: Mary and the Boy’s debut self-titled album will be officially available on September 25th. You can order it now directly from our online shop.
